My name is John Manning. I have over 37 years experience in the steelfixing trade. I worked on countless projects in London in Eighties and Nineties. I returned to Ireland in 1996 and started a company called Burman Construction which became the Premier steelfixing contracting company in the Munster Region with over 30 employees.

Some of the larger projects were the Pfizer Factory in Ringaskiddy, the Merck, Sharpe and Dohme factory in Clonmel and The Languages Building in UCC in Cork City..

In 2007 I decided to pivot and concentrate on Grant Aided Agricultural Projects and smaller commercial contracts. I founded Legend Steelworks Limited which is a successful company.

In 2015 I made an APP that automatically schedules steel for all grant aided agricultural structures in line with Irish Department of Agriculture minimum specifications and this is used exclusively  in Ireland by contractors and Steelyards.
